Have you ever imagined your favorite TV shows made with pornstars? Well, get yourself a Parody Pass and you don't ever have to imagine it again, because you can actually see it right there on your computer screen.
Going into ParodyPass I was a little unsure how good the parodies would be. But let me tell you right off the bat that they are excellent. In fact, writing this review took me a whole lot longer than it should have because I spent a lot of time just watching the movies - they were that good. There is a surprising amount of effort that went into these parodies.
From the accuracy of the sets (how they got the "Golden Girls" kitchen, the "Cheers" bar or "Seinfeld's" apartment to look as close to they do on TV is impressive in itself), to the theme songs, these parodies are impressive. Even the scripts and acting is pretty good. Sure, the comedies aren't hysterical, but there are actually some good lines and the characters are accurate to the TV versions. There is even a laugh track.
There are currently only 20 videos, but that number is deceiving since each one is a parody DVD, generally lasting over two hours, with about four or five sex scenes throughout. However, there is no way to watch an individual scene without skimming through the full video (which is why we can't count the individual scenes as movies). There are also 20 sets of great-looking photos.
Really, the only negative I could come up with is that the movies are streaming only in a Flash player or in an MP4 format (for your iPad they say) and the videos look excellent. However, it would be nice to be able to download them also.
I guess a couple of other negatives would be the fact that there aren't any bonus sites and they are only updating once every month or two. Although, given the productions, this isn't completely surprising in that they probably take just a little longer to write and produce than some on-the-couch gonzo scene.
Parody Pass has great parody porn. The scenarios are good and the porn is hot and hardcore. This is the best of both worlds for fans of the genre and there is no reason any of those fans shouldn't sign up.
